- When you write say before everything when talking on messengers outside of avalon...
- When you actually SAY "say" before what you're trying to say...
- When you start thinking in terms of directions...
- When cooking becomes a matter of avalon's herbs and poisons

-when you think of filling the sauce bottles at work, you think of getting potions refilled

-When you begin to think of the different items to put as poisons and herbs

-When you start to think of slicing bread as bashing

-When the first thing you think of in the mornings is, how can I get out of work so I can stay home to play Avalon? *grins* Yes, I honestly do that sometimes.

*When you start spelling words the British way. i.e. favour instead of favor.

When following on bashes actually helps to calm your nerves.

-When you've had a hard day you wanna pull out a pipe and smoke some furglewort.
-When you look at a bunny and all you can think is "Kill kill kill".
-You put a snowflake shaped piece of metal on the last piece of cake, thinking no one can pick it up.

- Eating and sleeping are no longer necessities

When you're at work, and using the Ten-key... (numpad) and you're reading off directions to people by saying, North, South, southwest, northeast... etc.. Embarrassing...

When you're on the phone and you tell your friend, grin.

When you're in a fight with your real life girlfriend and you tell her she better shut her mouth or I'll JJ you.

I've often debated to myself if saying grin is normal or not...Guess now i have reason to believe it isn't.......Ooops

Also typing emotes into msn...all the time...to anyone...and not even realizing it isn't normal (see saying emotes above)

Worst thing I ever did (My mother telling me to tell my brother something, who was downstairs at the time). I said "shout" Then actually shouted my brother's name to get his attention....suddenly realizing what I did and that I was playing way too much avalon. Ooops

Swearing to write my thesis at the weekends but playing avalon constantly! Giving up trying to start thesis claiming it's too late in the day!

Hooking up a keyboard to his computer so he could have more macros. Only problem is it went of for pushing down and realeasing so i had to help him make settings to sort this problem out.

- You stay up until 6 am talking to someone from Avalon over Skype, when you have to get up for class an hour later at 7 am. (Guilty!)

- You have an extremely hard time explaining what "nnw" "lw" "qw" "cw" "gmw" "status" "score" plus more are when you accidentally type them into a messenger box instead of your client... Trust me, this gets weird with some of the aliases.

- Projects don't get done until a week after they're due, unless Nazgul, Pryrates, Serethipas, Zwartje, and/or Cabe are online.

I had this dream a few months ago, and it was a text-based dream. Of course.


I dreamt that I was idling at Path Entrance and Genesis and Solontus came in and made me into a statue for idling.

Leaving the house, going out the door and yelling "Be right back!", but actually thinking about typing 'brb' in your head.

In a rush to work... waiting for bread to toast, I actually said out loud,
"Tell toast hurry up!"

Should've seen the weird look my mom gave me.

While sitting at work, taking phone calls and searching the Internet for the best means of helping the customer- you sparadically start typing who-look-who-who-who-who-look in an attempt to find out who is one and where you are. After not getting the correct page when typing 'who' the first time you continue to type 'who' hoping that it will come up with the correct information subconciously. Conciously though, you don't know you are doing it until the webpage comes up with a completely different page then that which you would use to help the customer.


Speaking to your wife about the time you just spent in Avalon, your wife says, " Are you saying 'say' infront of everything you say to me?"

Receiving a Grade D paper and after you review it, you see man who-look-and other avalon aliases through out the document. The teacher's comments refer to the random inserts and asks, "What happened here, Did somebody tamper with your paper before you printed this? If so please contact me during my Office hours of 9-1 T&TH. This paper would have been a B+ without the interruptions. Please explain." (Conversation with teacher was also placed on teachers response as i don't recall what was actually on the paper, only that it happened and it was funny as shit)

Nice, the part about the paper is pretty classic!

When the first thing you think when looking at a drinkable strawberry yogurt is:

And then realizing it's really just a strawberry yogurt afterward and feeling like an idiot.

Let me be a bit more broad with that. When you think of drinking liquids in terms of drinking potions. I found myself thinking a tasty chocolate protein shake was a brown Potion of Sustenance.
