Songs....in the Key of Avalon
Okay, so we all have descriptions telling all about our character.
Here is a twist on it:
If your character had a theme song, that suited him/her very well, or described him/her very well, what would it be? Please give song title and artist.

Bodhin's Song
"Through Pain To Heaven" by Popol Vuh is the only one I can think of.
The title, and the fact it was on their "Nosferatu" album, are not significant. It's all about the music itself.

Oh fun, let make it more fun. What theme tunes do you think of when you think of some characters,
For me, hmm, sometime I’m a bit Mission impossible and sometimes I’m a bit George of the jungle.
Cabe would have to be the tune from star wars each time dath vader appears.

Re: Theme Song
Oh, this is going to be very funny to see what people come up with.
For me, like Thorongil, I think the song depends on the day or my mood. I think I'm mostly "Harry's Game" by Enya/soundtrack from Patriot Games, or perhaps "Star Wars Cantina" in my sillier moods.
I hope the following impressions aren't too offensive:
Dante--"Let's Get It On"/Marvin Gaye
Chronos--"It's Raining Men"/Weather Girls
Mazrackia--"Rooster"/Alice in Chains
Cecil--"Blaze of Glory"/Bon Jovi

Neamhain on a quest would definitely be the theme song from the "Benny Hill Show."

Tears of a Clown by the Four Tops I think. The song is so old, and so am I, that it is lost in the mists of memory.

Re: Songs....in the Key of Avalon
I have been giving some people bad mental images with this song today so I thought I would share it with all.
This song was Eltrax and Cylanthias.
My baby moves at midnight
Goes right on till the dawn
My woman takes me higher
My woman keeps me warm
What you doin' on your back aah
What you doin'on your back aah?
You should be dancing, yeah
Dancing, yeah
She's juicy and she's trouble
She gets it to me good
My woman gives me power
Goes right down to my blood
What you doin' on your back aah
What you doin'on your back aah?
You should be dancing, yeah
Dancing, yeah

Re: Songs....in the Key of Avalon
Eltrax thought this little ditty would be fitting for the Holiday Season, and I offered to post it. It is the theme from The Grinch, slightly altered. It is dedicated to Leona.
You're a mean one, Mr. Eltrax
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Eltrax.
You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.
You're a monster, Mr. Eltrax.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Eltrax.
I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.
You're a vile one, Mr. Eltrax.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Eltrax.
Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crocodile.
You're a foul one, Mr. Eltrax.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Eltrax.
The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."
You're a rotter, Mr. Eltrax.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Eltrax.
Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.
You nauseate me, Mr. Eltrax.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Eltrax
You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce!!!!
No doubt, this will be Leona's favorite tune this holiday.

Re: Songs....in the Key of Avalon
The truth is out! If you ever wondered where all those socks went, they use them to fill the gap left by the crystal hearts! And all these years, we've blamed the washing machines...Cylanthia wrote:Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Moonflight says (to Cylanthia): Ewww! You kissed that?!? *Shudders*Cylanthia wrote:You have termites in your smile.
Anyways, round of applause for Elty's creative genius on that one
Re: Songs....in the Key of Avalon
Not a song, but a sonnet in iambic quadrameter. Enjoy.
Ah! How tangled the web we sew,
Where the best lovers learn to fall,
"Lest," the best lovers jest, "We grow,"
"We answer only to death's call."
The lovers' smiling so gentle,
Hiding a beautiful evil.
Their fiery eyes doth kindle
Your very own heart in marvel.
And a lovers' words so venomed,
How skilled their tongue doth woo the best,
Old friends turn away their hearts numbed,
Till but a ghost lays seeking rest.
Forsake not, the lover's caress,
The final hour, your soul he'll bless.
