Re: How do you pronounce...
Yeah, it is kinda tricky. I always pronounce it "nee AH vin", but Thorongil, who is our resident expert on celtic/gaelic pronounciation, says it is "Ny EVE in" like the word "naive" with "in" on the end. Gotta say, sorta fits....

Re: How do you pronounce...
What about the Gods? For example, I think:
Telemachus woud be Ta Lem Ah Kus
Diomedes would be Die Ohm A Dees
Myrkul would be Mir Kool
Genesis is easy: just like the band. Jen A Sis
Who else? What about the goddess of vengence? She has a really LONG name.....

Cecil --
SEH - as in SEction
SUHL - as in foSSIL
but it could also be prounounced like this:
SEE - as in the verb, I see you!
SUHL - as in foSSIL again
but I am sure the first one is the correct one.
And for Harvey, HAR as in HARd, and VEE as in VIETnom

Derived from Sanskrit, meaning something like "Bringer of Light" as in wisdom or enlightenment. Seemed like a good magey name.
