The Ash Forest.
The sky about you is alive with the day-time. The sinking sensation is a result of the
escaping lava that massages the ground at your feet. Calmly and slowly moving about as
to not disturb the floor too much, you gaze to the far west and notice the trees
disperse into a clear area. Reaching for a branch to gain your balance, it quickly
dissipates in your hands and streams down as blacken ash onto the ground. A huge wisp
of fiery air spurts out from the east, singing the hair on the back of your neck. The
forest here leaves no routes trespassable except to the east and west, the other
directions being marred with the fossilised trees of what might have been. There are
six gate demons here. A spider demon boasting four tentacles tipped with needle-like
claws is here. A lesser servitor of darkness lurks here. A gaunt, haggard man robed in
black tatters prowls here, a barbed spear clasped in his skeletal fingers.
