Hello all, I've recently embarked upon my first guild honour quest, which goes like this:

You have a GUILD HONOUR quest to perform: Xantipe, fair ranger of the north smiles at you and bids you consider your first quest for the guild. "The ranger must be wood-wise and hardy, commanding a great knowledge of the land of Avalon. Lead me to the following places in succession I shall ye grant the honour of the explorer; the lookout tower of Thaumacie, the wolfgate of goblin town, the hall of the manor house, the vale overlooking the western oceans, the wooden arched entrance of Thakria's northern tower, the glade of wildflowers, the schoolhouse of Oakwood's End, the sun temple of Astrea's Delta, the clearing before the black mansion of Bedillam forest, the enchanted clearing by Alessandria, to the stone cross of the Eoses and back once more the Guild house.". You would type SUCCESS to demonstrate success if you have retrieved an artifact for your guild tutor, rather than handing it over. Remember that.

I've lead Xantipe to every place mentioned, and for each location she has nodded her assent, except The enchanted clearing by Alessandria and onwards. I found the Enchanted Clearing with some help from Thorongil after giving wood to Domaphcles and following him into his boat.

Does anyone know why Xantipe doesn't want to accept the location? Each time I go there the quest seems to reset and I have to start all over again.

although i cant remember for sure...pretty sure there is more than just one enchanted clearing in alessandria...

then again sounds like you just went to the island and not into the city? in which case there may be on in the city which you have to go to. I dont really remember much of the place despite having gone there recently...But that's my guess.

Malix is correct, there is more then one Enchanted clearing. However, i myself came to this honour quest when i was a Ranger and went to every one (to my knowledge) and was not able to complete it.

From the information that was provided to me at the time, this particular honour quest is glitched or somehow uncompleted. Genesis eventually gave me credit for completing it after I had explained to him the lengths and the efforts that I put in and the help from some friends of that time.

My Advice is to send a message to Lord Genesis indicating your problems. He might have fixed this after my time as i completed that quest a long long time ago. I hope this helps though

The enchanted location on Alessandria is 1 of the 3 enchanted locations in which to plant 1 of the 3 mellian seeds. The location for this quest is normally north of the location with the triangle in which to open elessandria. I think once you get off the boat you go west to reach the triangle then northish. If Xantipe is not accepting this location then there is something up with the quest. I suggest learning all the areas that you need to find and let Lord Genesis know as Mazrackia has said. Once you have shown you know where the locations are then he may give you the honour. Might also be worth while putting in a bug report.

Hmm...well it says "the enchanted clearing by Alessandria", so I presume it's not in the city.

I've already visited all the locations at least three times each, so I think I'll try asking Lord Genesis about it.
