I was working out my anti-knight strategy recently, wondering what would be the best way to destroy them, and realized the largest and most noticeable weakness in my plan was restrike. Thinking back to my previous fights I remembered certain spectacular events which I wanted to immortalize forever.
I've webbed a knight, they had frenzy down from sedation, I was restriked.
I've dazzled a knight, (not by my brilliance), I was restriked.
I've watched a knight begin to roll away, I was restriked. (then they rolled away)
I've broken both arms of a knight, I was restriked.
I've sat in constricted mists, I was restriked.
I've heard of someone making a knight go unconcious, they were restriked.
I've heard of a knight missing both his sword, they were restriked. (No idea the damage though)
Bah! I said, I just need to get better at malloran and fullparry!
So I went into a fight, malloran up, it is scythed, I fullparry, nothing happens.
I go to smoke some more and fullparry, I was restriked.
Bah! I said again, Restrike knows when I have pent, malloran, or fullparry up, it knows the second I enter or leave the location, it will never hit pentacle, malloran or fullstrike. I feel like I'm fighting a very well programed CCC, just add in an auto scythe and the knight won't have to do anything at all.
Hmmm, a little ranty you say? Bah humbug to you!
Post your experiences with restrike! I'm sure I haven't covered them all, I'm a forgetful person, ever see a knight restrike while unconcious with two broken arms, no swords, webbed, and dispair? I want to know about it!
