The history of the enchanters guild is a bit mysterious, with written records non-existent or lost. The founders of the Enchanters Guild were mages who split from the Mercinaean guild under the leadership of one called Eshkadeth. Another early figure in the guild was one Padraigh, who is memorialized in the entry hall of the guildhouse.

The position of Guildmaster was instituted in the year 820, and the following is a list of Guildmasters up to present day. The longest serving Guildmaster, by far, was Sundonak (58 years).
